Western Red Cedar shingles have a smooth, uniform appearance and are a unique and attractive reddish-brown colour. They are durable, very lightweight and stable, making them a sought-after alternative to traditional roof and wall tiles.
Our ‘Blue Label’ Canadian shingles are sawn, random width, mixed edge flat grains and straight edged as standard at the butt end.

All prices include VAT but exclude delivery costs.
Price per bundle - £133.00 inc VAT. Each bundle contains approx. 2.32m2 coverage with a 120mm exposure.
Size
Length - 400mm
Thickness - Tapered to approx. 8-10mm at the square end of the butt.
Widths - Shingles are supplied in random widths and the packs calculated for a given coverage. They should be used ‘as they come’, packs should not be sorted for widths. Western red cedar shingles are generally 75mm to 320mm wide.
Coverage
1 bundle on a roof with a 3-ply lay up will cover - 2.32m2. Roof elevation - minimum of 14 degrees.
Roof: 3-ply lay up with a 120mm exposure. Wall: 2-ply layup with a 180mm exposure.
Ridges are available to suit on request.
Expected Life
General life expectancy is 20 - 40 years (Southern elevations being the most hostile).
