Oak Shakes

from £226.00

£226.00 (inc VAT) per bundle. Minimum order - 35 bundles.

Traditional oak shakes have been used as a roofing material for centuries. They are beautiful, very durable, extremely weather-resistant, highly textured and suitable for a wide range of building projects.

Our sustainable oak shakes come from Bavaria and are from selected veneer grade A, slow grown European white oak logs with no defects and very straight grain. The timber is felled in the winter months and cut into roundels, with the most popular shake length being 40cm [other lengths are available on request].

They are radially quarter sawn, hand cleft and taper cleaned on the back. Our standard shakes are bevelled (chamfered) at an angle of 45° at the thick butt end.

Minimum Order

  • Minimum order quantity is 35 bundles.

Price

  • All prices include VAT but exclude delivery costs.
