Timber Pergolas
The perfect combination of form and function
Our exceptional bespoke oak pergolas will complement their surroundings in any style of garden; adding form, structure, beauty and height. Pergolas are perfect if you want to create a secluded seating area for relaxing or entertaining, add a focal point to your garden/patio, provide a hot tub enclosure, reduce the impact of an unsightly wall or fence or establish a spectacular walkway covered in climbers.
Solid oak pergolas
All of our pergolas are constructed in carefully selected green European Oak which naturally ages from a golden honey to a lovely silvery grey. Every component in this structure is oak unlike many other similar products that are offered on the market today, many of which use softwood components throughout. The timber we use is sustainably sourced. We are able to source FSC and PEFC certified timber for projects if required, just let us know at the start of the project. We are a Timber Development UK Responsible Purchaser. When you buy from us, you’re buying timber that has passed strict quality guidelines and is graded on-site by our timber graders. Combining high quality timber with expert craftmanship and traditional methods of preparation and construction, our pergolas will stand the test of time and enhance any property.

It is important that you use stainless steel or galvanised screws, as the tannic acid in the oak will quickly corrode iron and leave black streaks down your pergola. It is recommended that you use one screw on the end of each cross member to hold it to the frame. Fixings can be supplied on request.
-
If you have to store your oak pergola kit before you’re able to have it assembled, please try to keep it somewhere dry and protected. We strongly recommend that you do not store the pergola kit for longer than 4 weeks as joints may become misaligned and harder to assemble due to moisture reduction over the time period.
One of the biggest benefits that comes with our pergola kits is that they are primed for swift assembly. By crafting each kit using traditional jointing techniques, it allows either professional tradespeople or experienced home DIYers the opportunity to build the pergola. We would recommend a few helping hands to get your project underway, as the solid oak posts are heavy and therefore will be difficult to lift and fix into position without help.

You can leave your pergola untreated. If you wish to treat the timber, do contact our expert team for advice as regards suitable products.
